The best person to speak to about this would be the financial aid office at the school you wish to attend. Do you have any in mind? You will need to complete a FAFSA Form, though you are behind the deadline for the fall (but financial aid offices can sometimes work wonders). Visit the FAFSA site and complete a new student profile. You will need your tax information from last year. You'll want to answer yes to "accept grants" within the application.
As each college ,and state have their own "grants and scholarships", a state would be helpful and I can go looking online to see what is out there. If you have a college in mind, let me know and I will go and see what is listed on their website (though you may do this as well, because you'll better know which ones you might like to apply for). Most scholarships will want you to do a written piece, so be prepared and find someone who can edit your work. Make sure to check deadlines and mark those on your calendar!
Best of luck. Namaste-Anora
